Indian Assistance for the
Renovation work of the Ambuluwawa multi- Religion and Bio-Diversity Complex
Indian Assistant High
Commissioner of Sri Lanka Mr. Arumugam Nadarajah announced that the Indian
government will extend its support for the renovation work of the Ambuluwawa Multi
Religion & Bio-Diversity Complex located in Gampola area. This step has
been taken to strengthen the ties between two countries. Assistant High Commissioner
informed that the step taken by the Prime Minister to establish the religious
co-existence has been commended by the Indian Government.
Mr. Arumugam Nadarajah
expressed these views today (22) during a tour in the All Religious and
Bio-Diversity Complex in Ambuluwawa. Assistant Indian High Commissioner
requested an estimate from the Prime Minister to provide necessary allocations
for the renovation works of Vee Bissakara stupa and the kovil.
Assistant Indian High Commissioner who spoke in appreciation of the environment
of the environment in Ambuluwawa stated that he likes the natural beauty of Sri
Lanka very much. He further stated that this is the only country where such a topography
is available in a small extent of land.
Mr. Arumugam said he is glad
that the Ambuluwawa multi- Religion and Bio-Diversity Complex has achieved a
great success during a short period from the year 1998 in which the
construction work commenced. Further, he added that his attention has been
focused on providing funds for the development of telescope facilities and
underground viewing galleries in this site.

Environment Abdul Cadhar and the Treasurer of Ambuluwawa multi- Religion and
Bio-Diversity Complex Mr. G.W.Chandraratne also joined this occasion.

අම්බුළුවාව සර්ව ආගමික හා ජෛව විවිධත්ව සංකීර්ණයේ ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ සඳහා
ඉන්දියාවේ සහාය ලැබේ.
ගම්පොල, අම්බුළුවාව සර්ව ආගමික හා ජෛව විවිධත්ව සංකීර්ණයේ ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණ සඳහා
ඉන්දීය රජයේ ආධාර ලබාදෙන බව ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ ඉන්දීය සහකාර මහ කොමසාරිස්, ආරුමුගම්
නඩරාජා මහතා පවසයි. දෙරට අතර සබඳතා ශක්තිමත් කර ගැනීමේ අරමුණින් එම පියවර ගෙන
තිබේ. ආගමික සහජීවනය ස්ථාපනය කිරීම සඳහා අග්‍රාමාත්‍යතුමා ගෙන ඇති පියවර තම රජයේ
ප්‍රශංසාවට ලක්වන බවද සහකාර මහ කොමසාරිස්වරයා කියා සිටියේය.
ආරුමුගම් නඩරාජා මහතා මේ බව කියා සිටියේ, අම්බුළුවාව සර්ව ආගමික හා ජෛව
විවිධත්ව සංකීර්ණයේ චාරිකාවකට එක් වෙමිනි.
අම්බුළුවාව වී බිස්සාකාර චෛත්‍යයේ හා කෝවිල ප්‍රතිසංස්කරණය කිරීමට අවශ්‍ය ප්‍රතිපාදන
සැපයීමට ඇස්තමේන්තුවක් ලබාදෙන ලෙස ඉන්දීය සහකාර මහ කොමසාරිස්වරයා අග්‍රාමාත්‍යතුමාගෙන්
ඉල්ලා සිටියේය. අම්බුළුවාවේ පරිසරය පිළිබඳව වර්ණනා මුඛයෙන් කතා කළ සහකාර මහ
කොමසාරිස්වරයා, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සොබාදහමට තමන් බෙහෙවින් ඇලුම් කරන බවද පැවසීය. කුඩා භූමි ප්‍රදේශයක මෙවැනි භූ විෂමතාවක් දක්නට
ඇති එකම රට ලෙස ශ්‍රී ලංකාව හැඳින්විය හැකි බවද සහකාර මහ කොමසාරිස්වරයා කියා
සිටියේය.
1998 වර්ෂයේ අම්බුළුවාව සර්ව ආගමික හා ජෛව විවිධත්ව සංකීර්ණය ආරම්භ කොට
කෙටි කලකින් වත්මන් තත්ත්වයට ගොඩනගා තිබීම පිළිබඳව තමාගේ ප්‍රශංසාව හිමිවන බවද
ආරුමුගම් නඩරාජා මහතා ප්‍රකාශ කළේය.
එමෙන්ම, නැරඹුම් දුරදක්න, භූගත නැරඹුම් මැදිරි සංවර්ධනය කිරීම සඳහා ආධාර
ලබාදීම කෙරෙහි තම අවධානය යොමු වී ඇති බවද සහකාර මහ කොමසාරිස්වරයා කියා සිටියේය.
